Join Ashley, Company Director of Ascension Dance, for 2 unique pro classes centred around play, set movement and light exploration as we explore movement from Parkour and Dance to create physical phrases and movement language that harnesses pattern and creativity.

Classes are 7 and 10 October.  We may work in shoes so please bring footwear that you are happy to move in

About Ashley Jordan

Ashley Jordan (AJ) is a Coventry dance artist who is inspired by all things movement. With a background in contemporary dance and parkour, AJ creates work that often utilises set work and a movement physicality that is centred around us as humans and our relationship to each other and spaces. Ashley is the Executive Director of Ascension Dance Company and has recently had choreographer work that has aired as part of BBC Dance Passion 2022 and SkyArts: Unlocked series

Rooted in feelings and centred around our human connection to others, Ashley uses, relationships and a powerful movement vocabulary to create choreographic pieces that aim to stretch our perception of who we are and what motivates us as people. This work will physically challenge the concept of play for young people embodying ideas of Ashley’s love invention and creative outlets.
