Joe Garbett & Jay Yule

Joe Garbett (he / him) Joe Garbett is an internationally-toured choreographer, facilitator and performer, and co-creator of Plue. He makes socially engaged dance work that aims to connect rural communities in creative curiosity. Supporters of his practice include: Arts Council England, FABRIC, The Place, South East Dance, PDSW, Take Art, Carne to Cove, Villages in Action, National Theatre, Rural Touring Initiative, Studio Wayne McGregor and Greenwich & Docklands Festival. Joe centres care and accessibility in his practice, advocating dance as a way to bring people together in play, joy and silliness.

Jay Yule (they / them) works as a dance performer, facilitator and maker, and performs in Plue. They have worked regularly with artists such as Eli Lewis, Joe Garbett, Jo Fong, Marisa Carnesky, J Neve Harrington, Sarah Blanc and Sarah Fahie as well as Theo Clinkard, Heidi Rustgaard and Luca Silvestrini in a variety of venues from the Royal Opera House mainstage to the sticky floors of the Dalston queer club circuit.
