Lórien Peters

Lórien is a multidisciplinary movement artist and filmmaker currently based in Birmingham and London. They graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and then completed an MA in dance performance at London Contemporary Dance School.

Their movement practice seeks to incorporate a variety of different mediums and inspirations including, improvisational scores, physical theatre and breakdance. Central to their approach is the use of improvisation, which is deeply rooted in task-oriented and somatic-based practices. They have choreographed and presented their works at various platforms in the West Midlands and Leeds, notable being Flexus Dance Collective and The Middle Floor.
