Kate’s practice has been heavily influenced by over 20 yearsof rich, diverse experiences, as a dancer, choreographer, andteacher. Expect dynamic, rhythmical sequences, which go with the flow ofthe body, not against. Time will be given at both the start and finish, torelease and connect.
With over 20 years under her belt; performing nationally andinternationally, directing – including founding and running mobius dancetheatre (2001-2011), choreographing and heavily involved in education and communitywork, at 42 Kate is still thriving off this ever evolving and developingindustry. Current projects include working alongside Anjali, BBC/Rural Media,Motus, and #ACESupported solo project ‘I am ok’ to tour 2023. Kate is alsofounder of centre-point movement well-being and Pilates in Warwickshire.
Kate works with an instinctive movement quality, drawing on her love for music taking over the body! Or should I say derivingfrom her hedonistic days clubbing in the 90’s/00’s! Both organic principles andthe more dynamic, also fusing the endless possibilities of technique, and useof alignment. Allowing the body to get into the nitty-gritty, let loose, whilstflow is at the heart. Allowing each mover, the time to connect with their ownphysical voice.
