Thurs 7th Mar 2024, 10am

About the class

A movement workshop that focuses on the exploration of the connection within touch and the preceding moments prior to contact.

During the practice, we deepen the tools of association, awakening a stronger sense of touch by using the skin as a wider sense of touch. Using the surface of the body as a layer to initiate cooperative and codependent movements between different entities.

This created space serves as a platform to awaken intuition and creativity, combining analysis and exploration to deepen experimentation in order to gain further understanding of the physical, psychological and emotional principles that influence human movement.

We will explore the relationship between the surrounding environment and our inner landscape. We will immerse ourselves in the shapes, textures, colours, and sensations that surround us to understand how our individual experience of a particular place affects our perception of space.

Please note: filming for social media takes place in class. If you do not wish to be filmed, please inform a member of staff or the Brum Pro Class Co-ordinator before class.
